Personal History
|
On July 14, 1960 I was born Cheryl Ann Hoyt in Middlesex, New Jersey. I lived and grew up in the small town of Whitehouse Station on Route 22, until I was 17 years old. I attended Hunterdon Central High School in Flemington, NJ until the middle of my senior year in January 1978, at which time the family moved to Cody, Wyoming.
I lived in Cody (founded by Buffalo Bill) from January 1978 until September 1985. Upon graduation from Cody High School in May 1978, I promptly went to work at the Cody Enterprise Newspaper. A couple of years later I became the secretary at the Century 21 Cody Realty office where I worked for 5 years before moving to San Diego when I was 25. While living in Cody, I also waitressed nights at several different restaurants during the summer months each year.
Upon moving to San Diego in September 1985, I went to work at Computer Intelligence, located in La Jolla overlooking the Torrey Pines Golf Course. I worked there for more than 11 years, finally leaving in January 1997.
In October 1987 I married my husband, whom I met only 3 months after moving to San Diego. Still married today, we have two children, a son 9 yrs old and a daughter 7 yrs old. Since January 1997 I have had the luxury of being a full-time homemaker.

Interests
|
My passion is San Diego Padres baseball. I am one of their HUGEST fans. But I also like all National League baseball. (Boo to American League play, the DH rule stinks!)
I'm a sucker for romance novels and movies. If I'm not on the computer, you'll probably find me curled up in my favorite corner recliner with a sappy romance book. Some of my favorite movies are "Against All Odds", "Witness", "The Cutting Edge", and "Last of the Mohicans".
I like Irish and Celtic music, especially when played without any words. The melodies are some of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.
